Since Ed demanded a new blog post I figured I should probably keep his highness happy (for I do fear his wrath, obviously)
I have some updated shots of the girls… Well, really they’re not updated because I did take them almost a month ago…
Whoops, but since it’s dark all the time now the only photos I’ll be able to get will be with flash.

Isi and Skye are unsure of me near the tank

Skye - I love her dark patch on her side

Skye is far too cute for her own good

I took full advantage of the warm Autumn we’ve had so far, with yet another sunny warm day and the sun streams into our living room nicely with the help of double doors through from the kitchen.
Speaking of weather, I cannot believe how cold it’s been getting at night… It’s not just chilly outside, it’s actually that kind of cold that hits you right in the chest and you can feel your entire body shivering…

Hazel

Hazel

Hazel - She's so diddy, a very petite gerbil
The girls are doing well and beginning to mature nicely, they’re almost at the mature adult stage and little Hazel has some catching up or rather, bulking up to do!

Isi - I'm loving her high belly line!

Isi - the little maddam

Isi - You can really see her 'stripe' in this shot.
I’ve gradually been adding more substrate into their tank as they learn to dig… Still haven’t quite got the hang of it yet, as they just seem to ‘swim’ through the bedding instead of digging and creating tunnels lol.

Skye - Nom nom nom

Skye - Is it me or is she smiling???

Skye - Has a crack at digging...

Isi and Hazel - Checking me out!

Isi and Hazel - The coast is clear now!

Isi and Skye - Head-on collision!

Skye - Little gerbie tongue!
