The sun was out today, amazingly, and still more or less out when I came home from work, so it was photo time! I was initially just going to do a couple of Roddy at Rach’s request, but he was fast asleep so while I waited, I took some of the gerbie gang.

Please do be warned, this is a long post and it is brimming with photos of cute animals, I can’t be held responsible for any health or PC-related problems from viewing them!

Before you follow the jump, think on this brain-teaser: How many cheerios can one gerbil hold in his mouth? The answer will be posted soon!

Well they’ve been running for two years now and I’m pleased to say that the annual eGerbil calendars are growing ever more popular! For those who aren’t aware, we do an annual member’s calendar, where our forum and society members can submit their fave photos of their mongolian gerbils (and other gerbil species!) to be put into the eGerbil Member’s calendar.
These calendars can be sent to anywhere in the world, so don’t let your geographical location put you off!

The 2009 Member’s Calendars are as follows..

eGerbil Member’s Calendar, £12.23 GBP/ $18.00 USD / $22.12 CAD

eGerbil Member’s Vertical Calendar, £13.58 GBP/ $19.99 USD/ $24.46 CAD

But that’s not all for 2009! We have TWO more calendars for you to choose from!

For those fascinated with the coat colours of the mongolian gerbil, we have a Coat Colour edition of the eGerbil calendar, each month with a different colour or two.

I particularly like the coat colour edition, which includes a month of blue gerbil photos! As with the eGerbil member’s calendar it has been made with photos contributed by our members, so you may see a familiar face or two in there!

Our third and final calendar is the Informational Calendar. For those wanting to know more about gerbils, see photos on gerbil housing, breeding, information on the new spotting gene, even down to sand bathing, this calendar is for you!

Each month is accompanied by photos of gerbils and some information on the monthly topic.

Of course, we do have more than calendars in our stores, here’s a few select items and clothing that might tickle your fancy instead!

If you fancy having a browse through our stores, they are as follows:

Gerbils Online, which mainly has photos of gerbils, some with cute or funny captions, and has proven to be our most popular store.

The eGerbil Store, which has products with the eGerbil logo on!

Valentine Gerbils, which mostly features a variety of drawn gerbils with a lovey-dovey theme :)

We can also personalise any item in our stores for your fancy; if you like a certain t-shirt, fill our the form on our website under the catagory of ‘online website enquiry’ and tell us what you’d like, if possible also link to any photos you would like to be used. The form is found hereThis costs no extra and makes your purchase extra special! :)

So if you know any difficult-to-buy-for gerbil lovers this xmas, why not go for one of our eGerbil products? You can’t go wrong! :)

This website is an example of what can be created when you join the International Gerbil Society.

You can use it to show off your gerbils, discuss your breeding methods, breeding goals, or just use it to completely ramble about nothing in particular like this one is for!

Be sure to read “Your IGS website”, which has a few pointers for getting started with your new IGS website.

There is also help on the IGS forum if you need any assistance with either gerbils or the website itself. For those without an IGS membership, please go to the eGerbil forum where any of our members or moderators will be happy to help with any queries you have.

Also, don’t forget to visit the eGerbil store; you can find more about this by clicking the page link above.Bea1
