(The cat, not me, I learnt how to successfully do it years ago!)

Milo is now sort of aiming for the hole, I still have to drag his hips back a bit once he’s in position as he’s still trying to widdle onto the tray but we’re getting there, and he manages to get some poos down the loo too.

In other cat-like news, I’m going to order some screens for the windows (and patio door) for summertime so that we can still have air flow without a lost kitty! I’ll report back once I’ve ordered & received them if they’re any good so other indoor cat owners in the UK can buy (or make if you’re handy) their own. It’ll certainly take a load of my mind, and they’ll keep out most bugs too! An added bonus! :D

Milo and I are gradually making progress on our (his) toilet training but I’m not rushing him, he’s doing brilliantly at the moment & hasn’t had a single accident (apart from when his butt was exploding and he ended up finding the litter bag and pooped in it!). It seems accidents are considered common-place when doing this type of training, especially on the owner’s bed (!!) but Milo is doing brilliantly. He’s gotten the right footing, can balance on both the litter kwitter & the toilet seat; he just needs to ease off on the whole scratching like a tard thing (which he is slowly doing!) so I can change him to the GREEN tray and we’ll be almost ready!

So far I’ve lowered his litter level to a small amount and he still goes around in circles scratching, but considering how he usually is with litter he’s slowly but surely easing off on the whole scratching need and should at some point only need a dribble of litter to confirm that it is indeed still his ‘tray’. He’s learnt not to scratch after doing a bowel movement but only because I lure him away with a treat, he occasionally still lingers almost like he wants to turn around and scratch but who can resist a treat? :)
