Whitmoregirl's Wombles

Well firstly, thanks to a $h!tload of spam, I’m removing comments on a few of my posts, they seem to be specifically aiming at certain posts for some damn reason. Anyway, it’s irritating me and drowning my inbox.

In other news, my fish are still alive after a week of being with me. And I’ve got a neat fish tank coming for them hopefully this week, and I’m eying up a few various other fishy things for both the axolotl tank and the soon-to-be fish tank. I’m quite looking forward to it! Oh, and the light unit on my axolotl tank went kerput the other week, it turns on but quickly turns off. Fortunately the chap I purchased it from was happy to contact the place he bought it from and they’ll be by next week to swap it for a new one!

Oh and for those that knew about my ear piercering the other month, they’re all healed and I’m happily trying on different earrings every ten minutes for it. It’s even harder to get dressed in the morning, I get to co-ordinate my ears to my outfit!

I did have other things to say but forgot, apparantly to eGerbil chat folk, I must have mad cow disease. I’ll probably remember while I’m out at work today.

That’s right, I have fish now!

I spied them the other week in Dobbies … and they were still there this weekend, t’was like fate! (That’s my excuse, shut up).

The first two photos are ones I took when I spotted them the other week, the third is when I was acclimatising them in their temporary tank. They’re a bit nervous at the moment but seem to be quite happy together.

Aren’t words weird? I don’t think I’m the only one to think this, but when you’re writing, take a moment to look back over what you’ve written. Some words look wrong the more you look at them, despite actually being written correctly!

Ukulele is an abnormally odd word. It’s almost like my brain is going “WHY ARE THOSE LETTERS CLUMPED TOGETHER LIKE THAT?!” when at the same time it’s going “It’s cool, I nearly wrote it down as ukalele, that one’s right.”.

My brain is odd.
