The sun was out today, amazingly, and still more or less out when I came home from work, so it was photo time! I was initially just going to do a couple of Roddy at Rach’s request, but he was fast asleep so while I waited, I took some of the gerbie gang.

Please do be warned, this is a long post and it is brimming with photos of cute animals, I can’t be held responsible for any health or PC-related problems from viewing them!

We’ll do the Roddy photos first, for Rach. :) He was a very happy lad, he got a cheerio!

I have been attempting to master the art of holding an upside-down gerbil. Even with a normally-docile subject like Ob it’s ruddy awkward and hard, add in a camera to the equation and it’s downright impossible!

Yes, even he had a cheerio. Look at the sheer pleasure.

Little bugger can’t eat with his mouth closed though.

He’s getting the lanky teenage look about him now.

I LOOOVE this one, he’s almost saying “It’s a cheerio. What I do wif it?” (he knows very well what to do with it, he’s becoming a proper little cheerio addict)

“A-HA! Rocks!”

And now to the last group (they came out together), Rudy, Donnie and Benson!

I must say, Donnie looks particularly dashing with his bed-head.

Benson looks as mad as ever, eyes as big as marbles as he poos himself over the birds moving outside.
