Not updated on my website for a little while, so that means photo frenzy!!!!
How does the striped grass mice, Rodney the fancy mouse and all but two of my gerbils sound?
Those that are on the I.G.S will have seen these on my blog, so these are for those that’re still waiting for it to open!
For those that have PCs that explode at lots of photos.. don’t click the below link. Or if you do, don’t blame me. The rest of you, enjoy!
Firstly, Wesley, my super-tame stripey.
Absolutely love this photo, he’s got this helpless “Where am I?” expression on his face.

Looong tail.

Where I’ve clipped his fur is growing back, barely visible now.

Skreeeetch

He was curious about the frog.

Wasn’t so keen on being on the ledge of the sill though.

Vogue! Strike a pose!

You can see the slight bite in his ear here. Purdy tippy-toes though!

How cute?

Tootsies!

Where I clipped his fur, can’t make it out anymore.. also, he’s moulting, look at all of that hair!

He was starting to get fidgety and wanted to go home now .. look at that face.

Love this! He blinked but looks so cute.

And this is right before he went back to his tank – jumped on the frog head as if to say “HOME. NOW.”

Now Wickus, his timid and rather battered brother. He is missing a toenail and the bloodvessels near the end of his tail are constricted hence the “pinched” effect, it’s something he’s been born with and doesn’t seem to affect him at all.

Lipsssss.

Mya and Lottie next, starting with a kiss!

Did you know these girls are now my oldest gerbils?

Mya still so pretty.

Lottie is looking her age, but still pretty none-the-less.

Rudy, Benson and Donnie – Rudy had a sticky eye and I couldn’t unstick it, so he looks grouchy from the left hand side. He seemed happy though!

Isn’t Donnie a nice colour at the moment? Nice gingery colour under that dusty ticking.

You can see Rudy’s spaggy nail here – it looks like he’s giving a sly bird to the camera! It’s long and looks odd at the base of the nail, so I don’t want to mess with it.

Bennie as ever got scared.

Eventually poked him out.

Indy’s girls! Pandora and Izzie, Iz has a moult line on her face at the moment.

Mmmmwa! Lots of gerbil kissing during my photoshoots, only caught a couple though.

Tripp and Cornish now.

What happens when you scoop up an unsuspecting lard-arsed gerbil:

Love his coat, silvery ticking.

This one is blurred but I like it, he had just fallen over out of the bowl and sat up and looked at the camera like “You didn’t get that did you?”.

And finally, little lone Lol(lipop).

Everyone’s fave, Ob!

Harpo, seems he’s developing a SGT.
Only small but he’s picked at it already.

He enjoyed a couple of cheerio treats though. Doesn’t seem too worried.

annnd….
Rodneeeyyy!!!
Look at this face. I do this expression in the morning. But he was whiffling and grumbling like I’ve never heard before!

Was not a happy bunny, far too cold on the sill for his delicate little ears and feet.

So I sat in front of the heater with him for five minutes.

And he came to life!

Annnnd back to the sill … for a poo.

Cute.

His current messy tank. He likes it though. Loooves his hammocks! If he wants to come out he’ll rattle them like crazy!

Did this by accident in photoshop and thought it looked cool.

And here’s the video of grumblepuss (I do have another but I do a very loud hiccup in it!)
The only pair I missed was Violet and Astra, but I will photograph them when the weather (and sunlight) brightens up, as I only have a small window of daylight in which to do these photos!

Lovely pics Loz. I love the baby stripeys. they’re gorgeous.
I can’t believe Lottie and Mya are your oldest gerbs now. They are looking great for their age though. I love how they like to give each other lots of kisses.
It seems my gerbils love to kiss.
They’re a very loving lot!
Awww, your so lucky to have such affectionate animals Loz
The Stripeys are looking lovely, I love how they seem to have fewer ‘fingers’ than Gerbils!
The gang are all looking fantastic, very nice gerbies
