Whitmoregirl's Wombles

Snapped a couple of photos of these two today, they weren’t particularly co-operative but I got one photo of each that I looove.

Look what I got!

Mousey ring! and it’s got a lil tail and nose! Lacking legs, but squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol, it’s adorable!

(and Linda, it’s from Canada! What else are you hiding from me?!)

Sadly, Monty passed away last night.

I noticed him looking rather weak and breathless not long after I had came into work, but he perked up for a little food and pobbled off underground into his nest.

A few hours later, I heard some strange thumping noises, which turned out to be Monty, doing some mad springing and headbutting the corner of the tank as he suffered another small stroke, and was cold and pretty unresponsive. I popped him under a towel and onto a hot water bottle, but he sadly died about an hour later.

My poor little burmey chap. At least I know he enjoyed all the mornings when he and his brothers got some of my cereal!
