Eugh. I can’t wait for christmas to be over. Having to go out early in the morning to find either six inches of frost or gallons of water being spewed from a very dismal looking sky, not to mention extra hours at work (which has some pros to its cons admittedly) means a very unhappy Loz. Where’s 2009 and spring goddamnit?!

And here’s my other gripe for the day –

WHY DO PEOPLE INSIST ON TEXTING/PHONING ME WHEN I AM DRIVING!

Lately I’ve been getting ‘anonymous’ calls, and about a bazillion texts and ‘browser messages’ from T mobile at around 5am in the morning, and I currently have three messages on my voicemail, one of which appeared late last night without even a phone call … I have no credit on that phone at the moment which is why I can’t tell you what they are, but I somehow think it’s some ass asking me about my life insurance/car insurance/house insurance/life story/ shoe size, etc.
Grrrr. I’m very tempted to trade in for a new phone, or at least a new number; I despise people knowing my details! (not you Indaaaaaaay, I gave you my number willingly, I think, unless you drugged me…again?)

Spring I like, Summer I can live with, Autumn I love, but Winter? Psh, the only plus side to it is that there are no bugs to pester me and the nights are longer. And I suppose when you’re inside the house and it’s nippy, it’s nice to have an excuse to snuggle up underneath the blanket. But I despise the thick layer of frost coating the car, the freezing winds, and the horizontal sleet that children and other childish-minded people shriek out to be ‘SNOWW!! SNOOWWW!!!!” despite the fact that it doesn’t settle and just soaks you to the bone.

And christmas is approaching way too quickly. I mean, waay too quickly – it’s three weeks to the day today. I’m not against christmas at all, but this year it feels far too commercial and the family values have gone out the window – instead it’s mum and dad buying a ton of presents to keep the kids quiet, and spending half their yearly packets on a meal with massively inflated price tags that they’ll be eating even after 2009 rolls in.
Maybe I’m just growing too old and aware of things? Oh, to be a mindless kid again :o

Still, regardless of your religious or personal views, I hope everyone has…

… well you’ve got to join in the seasonal cheer somehow :)
