Well it’s that time of year again when young children are encouraged to act as door to door beggars dressed in their soiled bedsheets. Or is that just my neighbourhood? …

Actually the kids around here aren’t bad, all the trick-or-treaters are pretty much all under 10 and usually accompanied with parents, and the over 10′s wouldn’t be seen dead in costume cos dats lyk, so gay. Although saying that I remember a few years back some kids around 16-18 trick-or-treating, and one house with an elderly couple refused to open the door and ended up getting their car and home egged.

It’s madness, why on earth have we made a day that begging and ‘tricking’ is allowed? That’s all it is in effect!
How would you feel if the begger sat in the street on any other day said to you ‘Give meh sum money or i’ll throw roks at yer legs’. BUT ON HALLOWEEN, HO HO HO, THAT’S ALLOWED.

You can tell I’m just bitter because I haven’t got a costume to dress up in. :)

Looking for gerbils in Scotland?

A good friend of mine in Dundee, has recently decided to take on a few unwanted gerbils for rehoming. At the moment, she has two young female gerbils called Kim and Aggie (ironicy for the conditions they were given to her in) who’ll be ready within a fortnight for a new home. Her website is Indy’s Rascals.

Both are very sweet and healthy looking girls and would really love a home for life.

If you can give these sweet ladies a home, please contact Indy via the eGerbil forum (indyrascal) or via her website.

– I am pleased to say that these girls now have a home! :D
