After years of searching for help and answers. I turned to other breeders, scientists and even labs to no avail. I was literally stumped. I didn’t know what else to do after locating the gene. I still didn’t know what the gene was. Finally, discouraged and ready to give-up, I met with Ed Cope of e-gerbil.  We went through all my notes and breeding of this gene, until Ed understood what was going on.  Picked it up right quick, he did. In a few shorts months Ed discovered what the new gene really is.
