Cholesterol. It’s what Scottish people eat.

We are not long back from a few days away from it all.  It came at the right time as it enabled us to have some time to ourselves and deal with everything that has happened over the last month or so.

With losing elliot so soon i was devastated and spent a lot of my time in tears just thinking of him.  The holiday helped me remember all the good times with him and the loving bond we shared.  I do still shed a tear fairly often but remember him with much love.  After our holiday we went to Dumfries to the lovely Phill’s house to pick up a bunny called Rupert.  He came from Kay at Bunnyhops rescue in Bolton.  He kept getting overlooked and had been there for a number of months so we agreed to take him.   We feel denying another bunny a home because of  how we feel about elliot wouldnt be fair to his memory.  If we learnt one thing from him – it was that quality time is much better than quantity.  With so many rabbits being in rescues all over the country i feel the best way to remember Elliot is to give other bunnies like him a chance of a new life.  Rupert is a very shy boy but is settling in nicely with us.  We are in the process of bonding him to Buddy, Mallow and Sasha and so far (touch wood) i ts going well.

Im sorry to say im addicted.  I absolutely love Diana.  I liked her voice from the first time i heard her and she hasnt stopped being my favourite.  If she wasnt in the comp i’d probably not bother watching!  Can’t wait to see what she’s going to sing this time.

Plans for the day – Tidying, cleaning, hoovering and the like (oooh the life i lead is filled with advenure).  Hoping to do that while aaron has a nap at 12ish.  Thennnnnnnnnnn clean bunnies littertrays and start out the cleanathon of gerbils.  I may be sad but i looooove cleaning out day.  I love it when they are all clean and have fresh bedding etc and the tunnelmaking begins.  I love seeing their excitement when they explore their nice clean home.  They get so hyper and dig under the hay and dont know what to chew first :)    Ahhh love it love it looooooooove it!

I have returned to enthral you all with tales of pure mediocreness (spelling?) WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO scuse me. I had to let that out due to the fact our new shed for the bunnies, Buddy and Mallow has arrived and stands erected. Now normally i dont get excited about wood (well maybe at certain times ;) ) but im really glad it is here and cant wait to get them back to stick them in it! Unfortunately there is a major flaw in this plan of mine – G.O.R.D.O.N. He has many ideas about what to do inside the shed. I fear for the safety of my shed and my sanity. These ideas he normally begins to carry them out – then mid idea building i hear the worlds most horrific obscenities flying out from my darlings mouth. Along the lines of “oh goodness me – i seem to have made a little error and now theres bits of wood everywhere and giant holes in everything.” Wish me Luck!! Will post a pic when i can be bothered getting up off my chair and venturing outside to snap the shed.
