Indys Rascals

Unfortunately one of our gerbils who has recently been rehomed has passed away.  Star came to us from Sharon and family due to her having another litter of pups.  She was a fantastic mummy gerbil and even though she was young herself and had no other gerbil to help her – she raised her pups excellently.  Unfortunately we feel this may have had a bad impact on her own health.  Before she went to sheffield she had a few problems with one of her back legs which the vet thinks was possibly a deficiency in calcium (the pups would have been a drain on her).  After vet treatment she seemed well and went to have a lovely home with Jack. Its a shame she didnt have more time to enjoy her new life.  Sleep tight little Star.  You truly lived up to your name.  You will be sorely missed.

Secret and Dapple’s two pups are now on their way to Wick with Sonya;.  It was sad but im not worried as i know they are in very good hands!  I will certainly miss them lots as im sure Secret and Dapple will.

Ive been offline for a few weeks and its felt like forever!  Hopefully i can get up-to-date with the website soon.  So much to do so little time!

Since ive been away – Star and her two female babies are now in a lovely home in Sheffield.  Bubbles has now moved in with Kirsty down south also.  The two male’s from Star’s litter also have a good home with Monika a friend of mine.  We have two new arrivals.  Squirrel who came from Sheffield Gerbil Rescue who is to be paired up with our own gerbil Raven.  Also Angelo who is to be paired with Damien the Dangerous in the hope these two lone males get on and can be rehomed together.

Secret and Dapples two pups (both males) will be going to Sonya in Wick.  They are 8 weeks old on Sunday and will be collected by Sonya on Monday.  She has a looooooong trip ahead of her as its 5 or 6 hours away!

Apart from me getting a year older thats about it thats happened so far!  Pics of the new arrivals to follow shortly……………….
